Club Rules
OUT OF BOUNDS
1. Beyond any hedge or fence surrounding the course.
2. The clubhouse and putting green as marked by white stakes.
3. 3rd hole. Beyond the hedge to the right of the fairway.
4. 4th hole. To the right of the white marker posts.
5. 5th hole. The lane behind the green.
6. 7th hole. To the left of the white marker posts which extend to the far end of the hedge.
7. 11th hole. To the left of the white posts which extend to the far end of the hedge.
8. 12th hole. To the right of the white marker posts.
9. 14th hole. A ball which is in or crosses over the lane to the left of the hole, even though it may be another part of the course. The lane extends as far as the hedgerow after which it becomes a path.
RELIEFS WITHOUT PENALTY
11. Trees having a tree guard on their trunk or staked. If such a tree interferes with a players stance or area of intended swing, the ball shall be lifted without penalty and dropped in accordance with rule 24. (immovable obstruction)
FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS
12. All fixed sprinkler heads and valve covers are immovable obstructions. (Relief rule 24) In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief as follows. If a ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which,
A. Is not nearer the whole
B. Avoids such interference
C. Is not in a hazard or on a putting green.
PATHS, ROADS, STEPS AND MARKERS
13. Relief under rule 24-2 may be obtained from al paths, roads and steps.
14. Stones and rakes in bunkers are movable obstructions and may be removed.
15. Tractor marks may be treated as GUR. Rule 25-1 b
16. 100yd and 150yd markers are immovable obstructions. Out of bound markers are an integral part of the course.
WATER HAZARDS
17. As defined by yellow stakes.
LATERAL WATER HAZARDS
18. As defined by red stakes. The ponds in front of the 10th tee are water hazards only when playing the 10th hole. At any other time they are classed as lateral water hazards.
